Project Title: emVR™
Project Description: emVR™ facilitates EMDR therapy sessions in VR via the web which offers an innovative and effective way to participate in immersive tele-health sessions and remote EMDR experiences.
Role: Lead Designer
As the lead designer, I was responsible for spearheading the user experience design, ensuring the product was intuitive, effective, and met the therapeutic needs of users.
Responsibilities:
- Designed and distributed surveys to collect quantitative data on user preferences and behaviors.
- Mapped out user journeys and flowcharts to visualize the entire user experience, ensuring a seamless and logical progression through the therapy sessions.
- Developed low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to explore design solutions and gather early feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Designed the user interface (UI) with focus on accessibility, usability, and a calming aesthetic to support therapeutic outcomes.
- Ensured the VR experience was responsive and functional across various devices and web platforms.
